Monceau sur Sambre – Extension and renovation of a depot for historic rolling stock

The contract consists of an extension of the existing CHW building in Monceau, a restoration workshop for the historic trains currently in operation, as well as the renovation of part of the existing building: 1. The extension of a storage depot for historic rolling stock shall include: - An extension of +/- 4500 m² on the north side of the existing building - An extension of +/- 3000 m² on the south side of the existing building - A box-in-box type volume for the storage of 4 royal cars The depot area must meet precise climatic requirements in order to ensure the durability of the collections (temperature and relative humidity). An air conditioning system without the use of fossil fuels is planned for this purpose. 2. The renewal of the air conditioning system of the existing building, without the use of fossil fuels. 3. The energy renovation of an office area in the existing CHW of Monceau comprising: - energy improvement works on the envelope - limited interior fittings The contract includes major works, finishes, electricity, HVAC, IT, roads nearby
