Description

The route 1720 Lehrte - Cuxhaven in the range of km 62,800 to 65,400 (between Eschede and Unterlüß) is mounted on a bogged dam body. This dam body was severely impaired in its stability due to heavy rains with a subsequent frost period. Due to structural measures (e.g. installation of a geogrid reinforced gravel load-bearing layer, punctual installation of gravel-filled big bags, embankment flattening), the dam was stabilized on both sides, upgraded and released for railway operation. The content of this award is construction work for a permanent and final Dammerfitung. This includes in particular the following work: • Dam flattening bahnlinks • New piling walls on the railway right in connection with a dam flattening • Renewal of a parallel path bridge • Renewal of a passageway • Carrying out preparatory and construction-related grubbing-up work • Creation of operation and dismantling of BE areas and construction roads • Underground cable construction incl. cable laying
