Description

The city of Herford is building a new one-field sports hall on the grounds of the Stiftberg Elementary School in Herford. The building offers space on 2 floors for a sports field as well as the associated adjoining rooms such as equipment room, changing rooms, sanitary areas, development areas and technical rooms. Due to the hung plot and the very narrow open spaces of the school, the building is largely built into the slope. The flat roof of the sports hall is accessed by 2 free stairs and by connection to the building elevator for barrier-free use as an additional free and play area. In other room areas on the roof, the ventilation system is housed, a photovoltaic system is placed on a pergola. The new building is constructed in conventional solid construction, 2-3 storeys, with a flat roof.
