Prequalification Tactical 5G capabilities for the defence sector
Defence materiel invites tenderers to prequalification for tactical 5G capabilities for the defence sector. The procurement includes the following areas: Mobile data for tactical use Nationwide Military Network Disc (mil. Slice) Military Coverage Extension (5G-MDF) delivered as a service Administration and Self-Service Infrastructure and Technical OperationsThe services shall support digitalisation of work processes and be technically and operatively robust in stand-by, crisis and war. Tenderers shall be able to adapt the services to changes in volume and needs, including an increased number of users and geographical expansion as a result of the Norwegian Armed Forces long-term plan. The framework agreement period is two (2) years from when the contract is signed. The contracting authority has the right to extend the contract for up to five (5) years, so that the total length can be up to seven (7) years including options. The option can be taken up as: Five (5) extensions of one (1) year, or A total extension of five (5) years The option can be triggered unilaterally by the Contracting Authority. The option is free of charge in itself. The contracting authority shall give notification of exercising the option at the latest one (1) month before the contract period expires. A written amendment contract shall be signed when exercising the option.
