Description

Bayerische Zugspitzbahn Bergbahn AG intends to modernise the existing Eibsee cable car. The new pendulum line replaces the existing shuttle from 1963 (construction years 1960 to 1962). The location of the mountain station and the cableway are essentially identical to that of the existing Eibsee cableway. A single support is now planned instead of the previous two pillars. The new valley station will be moved both across and along the lines of the existing railway axis.
Parts of the existing mountain station, the entire existing valley station and both stands will be broken down.
The Eibsee cableway valley station is located at approx. 990 m. NN, the mountain station at approximately 2 940 m. NN.
This works contract mainly covers the tiles for the field of the valley station.
e.g. wall tiles and floor tiles.
