Constituye el objeto de este contrato el suministro de semillas de yodo radiactivo I-125, necesario para la realización de implantes a pacientes con cáncer de próstata. El expediente 11/20 mediante el cual se suministran semillas de yodo radiactivo I-125 ha vencido, por lo que se hace necesario contratar de nuevo el presente suministro continuado de semillas. Así pues, el objeto del presente contrato es la adquisición de semillas de yodo radiactivas I-125 necesarios para realizar los implantes en pacientes con cáncer de próstata precoz y riesgo intermedio-bajo en el Hospital Provincial de Castellón, para seguir realizando este tratamiento, al ser este el único de la provincia que hace esta técnica.
