Description

The subject of the public contract is the maintenance and renewal of vertical and horizontal traffic signs on local roads in České Budějovice. The individual specifications of the works are set out in the 12-month ‘Table of specifications of works and unit prices’ annexed to the draft Contract for the provision of services (‘Draft Contract’). The offer unit price, depending on the type of marking, will include all the costs resulting from the assignment and for the complete execution of the work necessary (in particular transport, storage, situational plans of road markings of a smaller size, which will be charged according to the table of specifications of works and unit prices at an hourly rate, etc.) In order to ensure the operation of the installation of vertical road markings on local roads in the territory of the statutory city of České Budějovice, the contractor will provide a permanent 24-hour telephone service, which, within 30 minutes of notification, on working days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on working days, on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays within 60 minutes, will ensure the removal of a defect in the vertical road markings (in particular traffic warning signs, signs regulating priorities, etc.), which may endanger health or life, or which may cause damage to property. Notification means the reporting of information about an accident or the need to install road signs on the local road to the dispatching telephone number, either by the client or by the security forces. In addition to emergency interventions, the work will be carried out according to the client's requirements sent by e-mail or regular personal delivery on a specified day for vertical road signs with a delivery date of up to 5 working days (or as agreed) and for horizontal road signs in agreement with the client (in connection with climatic conditions, etc.) within 10 working days. The Contractor, in cooperation with the Client, will ensure the inspection of the existing vertical and horizontal road markings and propose to the Client the necessary renewal. The contracting authority reserves the right to withdraw smaller quantities or exceed the quantities specified in the Table of specifications of works and unit prices. The table of specifications of works and unit prices contains the expected quantity of individual supplies, their actual scope and distribution may vary and will be based on partial calls for performance of the contracting authority (client). The Contractor is obliged to fulfil all calls for performance from the contracting authority (the Client), unless agreed otherwise, to the extent (volume) of performance corresponding to the value of the total tender price. The fulfilment of deliveries requested by the Client beyond the total offer price is possible with the consent of the Contractor. The contracting authority undertakes to withdraw in the range of 12 months of performance in the value of at least CZK 100.000.00 excluding VAT, see Article 5 of the Draft Contract. The maximum total value of performance for each 48 calendar months of the contract is CZK 17.000.000.00, see Article 5 of the Draft Contract. The unit prices indicated by the tenderer in the Table of specifications of works and unit prices are binding, maximum permissible and non-exceedable prices guaranteed for the entire duration of the contract (possibly adjusted according to the inflation clause). The subject of performance of the contract is defined by a binding model of the draft contract, including the annexes that form an annex to the tender documentation. The contract concluded is not a framework agreement within the meaning of Section 131 et seq. of the Act, but a contract with successive performance upon a call for performance. Sub-calls for performance are not separate contracts subject to publication in the register of contracts.
