Description

State Examination NT2: National exam with which non-native adults can demonstrate their proficiency in Dutch as a second language by obtaining a diploma. It consists of four parts: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. The CvTE is responsible for the organisation, development, content and quality of the State Examination Nt2. DUO takes the State Examination Nt2, on behalf of the CvTE. The examination consists of two programmes: programme I (B1) and programme II (B2). Program I is intended for people who want to work or study at MBO 3 level or MBO 4 level. The level is similar to language level B1 of the ECA/CEFR. The content and tasks of the exam are focused on situations that occur in education, work and daily life at MBO 3 level or MBO 4 level. Program II is for people who want to study or work at HBO or university level. The level is comparable to language level B2 of the ECA/CEFR. The content and tasks of the exam are focused on situations that occur in education, work and the daily life of highly educated people.
