Description

The successful tenderer will be primarily responsible for the general maintenance and repair of all air conditioning and air handling equipment and services as well as small-scale new installations throughout all Dublin Bus facilities. The Contractor must have the necessary skills, competence, training and certification to carry out the maintenance required as per the manufacturer’s recommendation. These services required include the following: • Air Conditioning Routine Servicing  Clean and Check Air Filer of indoor unit  Check condition and operation of fan of indoor unit  Check all electrical connections (indoor and outdoor)  Check drain of indoor unit  Carry out leak check on unit (both indoor and outdoor)  Check batteries on remote control  Check operation of fans on outdoor unit  Check fins on condenser unit  Test unit for cooling and heating operations  Check fan bearing and lubricate (if necessary) • Air Conditioning repairs • Small Air Conditioning installations • Service of Air Handing and Extraction systems • Replacement of Filters as required on Air Handing units In addition the successful contractor will be required to produce a service report for the routine service for each unit detailing checks carried. A sample report should be included as part of the tender. There will be a requirement for the successful tenderer will have a PSA licence. If the successful tender does not have a PSA licence in place it will be Mandatory for them to have a Licence in place within 6 months after contract signing date. Dublin Bus have cash offices which would require servicing from time to time and it is mandatory that all service providers have a current PSA licence when entering these areas. The cost to acquire a PSA license must be included within the tender price. The Contract Term will be for 3 years with the possibility of extending for two 12-month periods if required by mutual agreement.
