Description

The subject of this invitation to tender is the implementation of the winter service at the locks and premises of the outskirts of Nuremberg on the Main-Danube Canal (MDK). The winter service includes the following facilities: LOT 1: Lock Kriegenbrunn (14.500m ²) Lock Erlangen (15.000m ²) LOT 2: In order to enable safe, accessible and mobile access to the premises, the areas, access points, access points and stairs marked in the site plan must be cleared of snow and ice. This is intended to meet the requirements of the traffic safety obligation for own and third-party personnel, as well as for shipping operators. The contractor is responsible for clearing and scattering the marked areas in accordance with the attached site plans. In the period between 4 p.m. and 6 a.m., the AN has to decide independently on an operation according to weather conditions and carry it out if necessary. When carrying out the missions, the AN must register at the locks via the intercoms at the entrance gates at the control centre, stating the number of persons and de-register again after the mission has been completed. The facilities ‘Schleuse Kriegenbrunn’ and ‘Betriebsgelände Außenbezirk und Bauhof Nürnberg’ must be cleared and scattered at 06:00 in every case of need, as this is the beginning of work or a shift change takes place. The other installations must be completed by 8:00 a.m. The clearance and scattering measures must be repeated between 06:00 and 16:00 as often as is necessary to prevent dangers to life, health, property or possessions (=need). For this purpose, the AN must provide the client (AG) with a telephone number under which the corresponding person responsible for the operational service can be contacted at all times. If necessary, shift plans must be drawn up with telephone numbers and handed over to the AG in good time. The clearing and spreading service shall be provided 24 hours a day and, if necessary, carried out.
