Description

The purpose of this contract is the development, implementation and dissemination of the hydrological alert protocol between state and regional administration, the integration into civil protection plans against the risk of state and regional flooding and the development and implementation of a real-time decision support system that incorporates new information and communication technologies. The river sections to which the warnings refer shall be identified at each control point. That is to say, each river section identified shall comprise those control points whose warning levels are representative of the hydrological status of the section in question. This will allow, in the future, the warnings to be associated with a stretch of river and not only to a specific control point. With the inclusion of new information technologies, the work will consist of the development of an IT tool that allows the efficient management of hydrological warnings in real time and their quasi-automatic communication in accordance with the provisions of the hydrological alert protocol.
