Description

THIS IS NOT A PROJECT OR OFFER REQUEST FOR ANY INFORMATION. The target of the planned acquisition is the provision of scientific English language control and editing services to HUS-Yhtymä. The target of the procurement is the provision of scientific English language checking and editing services for the needs of researchers, which HUS's result areas and units and the researchers operating in them will order according to their own needs during the contract period. As a rule, the work that is the subject of the order is one entity. In addition to the body text, the editing of scientific materials can include various tables, images and material prepared with different programs. In the language check, the editor corrects the text in such a way that 1) the text is flawless English (the spelling, punctuation and numbers are correct) 2) the text is the language of the target publication (e.g. British English, American English) 3) the terminology of the text is consistent, logical and appropriate to the scientific text) 4) the text is fluent, easy to read and proceeds logically 5) the editor modifies the structure of the text at the paragraph and sentence level. The language must be excellent and flawless. If the subscriber notices that there are errors/errors in the result of the work, the subscriber can send the text back to the supplier for correction free of charge. This request for information is not a contract notice, a prior information notice or a call for tenders and does not constitute an invitation to tender. Responding to a request for information or participating in a market dialogue is not a condition for participating in a possible subsequent competitive tendering procedure, and responding to a request for information does not affect the position of the tenderer in a possible competitive tendering procedure. Responding to a request for information is not binding on the parties involved. Respondents to a request for information shall not be reimbursed for responding to a request for information. Editors' responses will be treated confidentially. Based on the responses to the information request, it may be possible to offer tenderers the opportunity to present their solutions in a way that will be announced later, and to examine in more detail what matters should be taken into account in the tendering process. The contracting entity may use the answers in the planning of the future procurement. The information provided in this notice, as well as any information to be provided during the market dialogue, is preliminary and indicative. HUS does not undertake to carry out the procurement or a specific method of implementation, and suppliers interested in the procurement do not undertake to participate in the tendering procedure. Information collected through a request for information may be used in the preparation of a possible tendering procedure and a call for tenders. All interested parties will be given the opportunity to participate in the market dialogue. The contracting entity requests that it declares its interest in the procurement by 17 June 2025 at 12:00 noon. Registration is done by sending a message to the address myyntitus.tiimi@hus.fi. In order to organise the dialogue, the operator must include the name and contact details of the contact person (email and telephone number) in the reply. Please headline the message: "Scientific English Language Testing Market Dialogue". Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
