Hankinnan kohteena ovat tietoliikennelaitteet ja asiantuntijapalvelu. Hankinnan kohteet on kuvattu erikseen liitteessä 1 Hankinnan kohteen kuvaus sekä muissa hankinta-asiakirjoissa. Hankinta on jaettu viiteen osa-alueeseen: - Osa-alue 1: Juniper-laitteet - Osa-alue 2: Aruba-laitteet - Osa-alue 3: Cisco-laitteet - Osa-alue 4: Fortinet-laitteet - Osa-alue 5: Asiantuntijapalvelut Tällä hankinnalla perustetaan puitejärjestely. Kuhunkin osa-alueeseen valitaan 2 toimittajaa. Puitesopimus on määräaikainen, neljä vuotta. Tarjouspyynnössä esitetyt hankintamäärät ovat arvioita, eikä sopimus muodosta tilaajalle määräostovelvoitetta.
