Description

The subject of this call for tenders is ‘Preparation of a comprehensive report assessing the compliance of the investment project with the basic requirements for construction works and supervision and control of the execution of construction and installation works on the site ‘Repair and restoration of coastal defence facilities – Varna beach area’. The contractor, in its capacity as a consultant within the meaning of Article 166 of the Spatial Development Act, shall carry out the following activities within the scope of the service: Activity 1. Preparation of a comprehensive report assessing the compliance of the investment project for the site ‘Repair and restoration works of coastal defence facilities – Varna beach area’ with the basic requirements for construction works. Activity 2. Supervision and control of the execution of construction and installation works on the site ‘Repair and restoration works of coastal fortification facilities – Varna beach area’. Activity 3. Exercise of construction supervision during the rectification of defects during the warranty periods at the site ‘Repair and restoration works of coastal defence facilities – Varna beach area’. The subject of the investment project is the existing coastal protection facilities in the area of the Varna beach area, as follows: • Buna B101 (First Buna) – two-wing bulk stone, concrete pavement, low and high pier, protection against rock blocks and tetrapods (PI 10135.2561.14); • Buna B102 (Second Buna) – two-wing bulk stone, concrete pavement, low and high quay, protection against rock blocks and tetrapods (PI 10135.2561.8); • Buna B102B (Third Buna) – two-wing bulk stone, concrete pavement, low and high pier, protection against rock blocks and tetrapods (PI 10135.2536.190); • Buna B103 (Fourth Buna) – stone bulk body with concrete pavement and protection from rock blocks and tetrapods (PI 10135.2536.190); • Damba – stone body with concrete pavement and protection from rock blocks (PI 10135.2561.19, 10135.2561.14, 10135.2561.8, 10135.2536.189, 10135.2536.190). The project envisages repair works of the facilities within the boundaries of the land properties in which they are built, including the removal of rock blocks, delivery and installation of rock blocks and rock protection, partial restoration of concrete flooring, replacement of reinforcement, repair of stairs, piers, etc., construction of new reinforced concrete railings, etc.
