Description

The city of Bitburg is planning an extension of the main school building on the grounds of the Grundschule Süd in Bitburg and the new construction of a sports and multi-purpose hall with outdoor facilities. Under a sub-area of the sports and multi-purpose hall, a single-storey basement with storage rooms and building services will be built. An existing sports hall was completely dismantled in the run-up to the new building measure, including partial basement and the connecting building between the sports hall and the main school building. The existing school building will be preserved. The plot (lot 1 217/13) has a polygonal floor plan with a total area of 8,400 m2 and is located between the streets Kirchweg, Borenweg and the street An der Südschule.
