The Commission adopted on 2 May 2018 its proposals for the post-2020 long-term budget of the Union, the Multiannual Financial Framework. This will be the first long-term budget for the Union at 27.
These proposals are the result of an open and inclusive debate launched with the White Paper on the Future of Europe and the European Commission's Reflection Paper on the Future of EU Finances in 2017.
