Horizon Europe plays a central role in supporting the EU’s Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA) by funding the research and innovation activities required to strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity for clean technologies. This policy brief quantifies this contribution, assessing how investments are concentrated and highlighting investment patterns consistent with the EU’s objective of achieving a 40% domestic production target by 20301.
