In accordance with Article 10, paragraph 1 of Regulation (EU) No 649/2012 (the PIC Regulation), exporters and importers are required to inform their Designated National Authorities (DNAs) about trade in PIC Annex I chemicals in the preceding year, by 31 March of each year. In accordance with Article 10, paragraph 3 and Annex III of the PIC Regulation, each EU Member State should then provide ECHA with aggregated information so that ECHA can summarise the data at Union level and make publicly available the non-confidential information. This report summarises the trade activity of chemicals listed in Annex I of the PIC Regulation, in 2020, based on the data received from the Member States and the United Kingdom (Northern Ireland). Note: The “Destination Region(s)” are provided in accordance with the codes for the United Nations Regional Groups: AF (African Group), AP (Asia and Pacific), CEE (Central and Eastern European Countries), WEOG (Western European and Others Group), GRULAC (Group of Latin America and Caribbean Countries).
