Based on the background of the amended Stockholm Convention the intention of the study is in particular to provide the European Commission with : a compilation and evaluation of existing data on the new POPs and candidate POPs an assessment of impacts of potential concentration limits under the POP regulation on waste flows and competing legislation justified proposal for low (LPCL) and maximum (MPCL) concentration limits for new POPs and candidate POPs.
