Projects and activities aimed at raising awareness and empowering children, teachers and parents for a fun, balanced and safe digital life - Study
The digital world is a new space to become familiar with, in terms of its codes, rules, dangers and opportunities. Recent research shows that the social and cultural changes generated by this digital world have an impact from early childhood. Currently, learning how the digital world functions mainly takes place between peers and focuses on entertainment and shared experiences. Sometimes adults seem entirely separate from this process. The problem is that one does not learn the codes and the rules only by using the tools; the presence of an adult with young users permits the integration of the... use of information and communication technologies (ICT) with values, critical thinking and awareness of possible risks. In other words, adults are able to provide experience, wisdom and balance. This booklet presents, through simple and clear activity sheets, a variety of projects, activities and strategies to address and promote exchange and digital experience between teachers, parents and children aged 8 to 12.
