Bem-vindos ao Parlamento Europeu, o coração da democracia na União Europeia (UE), que representa 500 milhões de pessoas. A sede oficial do Parlamento Europeu está localizada em Estrasburgo, na França, mas muito do seu trabalho tem lugar em Bruxelas. Há muito para ver e explorar: desde as visitas guiadas ao Hemiciclo até ao moderno centro de visitantes que é uma das principais atrações de Bruxelas.
Tudo foi concebido para mostrar o Parlamento Europeu, o seu funcionamento e o que faz pelos cidadãos da UE. Compreender o passado mais distante da Europa é também essencial para apreender o que é a UE hoje e, a partir de 2016, a Casa da História Europeia proporcionará uma perspetiva única da história partilhada da Europa. Todas as atividades são completamente gratuitas e a maioria está disponível em cada uma das 24 línguas oficiais da UE.
