The fourth interim report of the CARDS programme 2004 project "Development of National Metrology, Standardisation, Conformity Assessment and Accreditation System” - offers an overview of the conducted activities during the period: from the 6th April 2008 to the 5th October 2008. Furthermore, it is listing the planned activities for the fourth reporting period (06th October 2008 – 15th May 2009). They are derived from the overall scheduling of the project that has been concluded within the Inception report as well as the progress achieved during the previous implementation period. Finally, the last chapter is meant to provide a synthetic view on the achieved results in the course of the third reporting period, derive conclusions and list the key fields requiring efforts for further improvement.
