Erasmus+ annual report 2017
Publication metadata
In 2017 Erasmus+ continued to support the implementation of the four objectives of the 2015 Paris Declaration on promoting citizenship and the common values of freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination through education. In particular, it strengthened the focus on common values and inclusive education across all its actions, and prioritised them in a number of key calls for proposals, following
the presentation and subsequent proclamation of the European Pillar of Social Rights, which establishes the importance of quality and inclusive education, training and lifelong learning as its first principle, as well as to support the preparation of a proposal for a Council Recommendation on promoting common values, inclusive education, and the European dimension of teaching and pave the way to its subsequent implementation.
