HomeCivil society’s reflection of the National Roma Strategy 2013-2023 and recommendations for the new National Roma Strategic Framework in Portugal

This report aims to contribute to the reflection and evaluation on the implementation of the National Strategy for the Integration of Roma Communities 2013-2023 (ENICC) with a focus on the national context of Roma communities and the presentation of proposals for action/recommendations associated with the definition of the second generation of the Roma strategy – the National Roma Strategic Framework (NRSF), which follows the EU Roma Strategic Framework 2020. Included in the document are some reflections that express the concerns of the participating organisations regarding the implementation of the strategy. These highlight the need to define measures and programmes that foster the effective inclusion of these communities.
