This is a final report which summarises and presents the outcomes of the work conducted by the Sub-Group on Youth Work. The main aim of the SGYW was to accompany and advise on the process of creating and implementing an open and multilingual dedicated European digital platform on youth work in close cooperation with the youth work community of practice, to share information, knowledge and good practices, engage in cooperation and peer-learning. The SGYW was established in the context of the Council adopting the Resolution on the Youth Work Agenda in December 2020. The Resolution invites the European Commission to set up an expert group to facilitate the development and implementation of the European Youth Work Agenda for quality, innovation, and recognition of youth work, which is in line with the aims of the EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027). The implementation of the EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) and support of development of youth work is also fostered by the EU Youth Dialogue processes. The EU Youth Dialogue processes often contribute to resolutions or conclusions of the Council and of the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States, as is the case in some of the following documents related to the youth work domain: Resolution of the Council and of the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States meeting within the Council on the Framework for establishing a European Youth Work Agenda 2020/C 415/01.
