This document forms the Final Report for the ‘Study on territorial supply constraints in the EU retail sector’. This study has been commissioned by the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission, and it has been carried out by VVA Economics & Policy and London Economics. This study forms a fact-finding mission on the effects of Territorial Supply Constrains on the Single Market as announced in the 2018 Communication A European retail sector fit for the 21st century. The report focuses on providing the overall conclusions of the analysis that has been undertaken based on the various data collection tools.
