Within the RFCS research project INFASO design models for innovative steel-to-concrete joints on the basis of the component method have been developed including also new concrete components. Also electronic tools have been prepared. This project aimed at the valorisation, the dissemination and standardization of these results to reach a wide audience including steel and concrete design engineers in order to assure the application of the outcome. Two Design Manuals and various electronic tools were developed in order to give practitioners a deeper insight into the steel-to-concrete joints. The Design Manual I provides in-depth information on the concept and the verification method including some explaining examples. Design Manual II aims at the conceptual design of steel-to-concrete joints in the view of application in practice and highlights the possibilities and application fields among others by real life examples. Draft proposals have been developed to show how the results may be integrated into European design codes.
